Jacobs was a performer since age of eight and took classes on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Mt. Jacobs was a graduate of Lebanon High School, New York, in the year 2000. Then she moved to New York City, to pursue studies in the Juilliard School. In 2004, she graduated with a bachelor's degree.
